“(“Deluge”) has nine extended instrumentals, each chocker with tension, texture and bold surprises. Any song might include hypnotic rhythms of Krautrock, bebop jazz, the bracing post-rock sound of Tortoise, the art rock of Captain Beefheart and the surf guitar sound of Link Wray.
